Springfield Sunrise Coffee & Bicycle Club - July 9, 2014
This morning we met at one of the taller and westernmost parking garages downtown to watch the sunrise over the city. It was a beautiful morning in the mid 60s, temp-wise, and the sky was mostly cloud-free for a change. We had the best turnout so far with many new people braving the alarm clock to bike across town to greet the morning sun with a coffee mug in-hand.
I rode my Marin beach cruiser single-speed, today. There were a myriad of other bikes present, from cruisers to cyclocross to MTBs and road bikes. I think I rode about 10 miles round trip.
