A Couple of Watercolors from Last Weekend.

I went to Nathanael Greene Park on Saturday to sketch for a few hours. Saw lots of wildlife - blue herons, Canada geese with their chicks, gold finches wallowing in puddles like fluffy little yellow piggies and several trees downed by beavers, oddly enough. That last one confirmed by a news article I read yesterday.

This guy crept right up on me when I was sketching the lake image. I got to watch him fish for perch a dozen feet away.
